OUR BELIEFS
GOD
We believe in God. He is, He was, and He always will be. He created the Heavens and the Earth and everything in them. He is known as Father, came as the Son and lives in Christians as the Holy Spirit. Getting to KNOW Him is absolutely incredible!
JESUS
Jesus, God the Son, came to Earth and was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins and rose from the dead. He’s still alive and changing lives today!
HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is a comforter and a guide for every disciple of Jesus. He actually lives inside of us, His Temple, and enables us to live a life of power, love and self-discipline!
BIBLE
The Bible is the book God wrote for us. It’s true, it’s accurate, it’s authentic and it’s absolutely applicable to our lives today. Get it, read it, live it!
PEOPLE
We’re not perfect. We’ve sinned — all of us. We need help. We need Him. We also need each other, and that’s what Church and fellowship is all about!
SALVATION
It’s a gift. It’s free. It’s God’s grace, not your good deeds. Jesus’ death allows your sins – all of them – to be forgiven. Wiped out, canceled, deleted, erased…you get the picture. The gift is free; all you have to do is claim it by responding (see below).
OUR RESPONSE
If we believe in Jesus and we want to receive the gift He’s offering, He calls us to repent (change our mind about who’s in charge of our life; turn away from our sins) and be baptized (dunked in water). When we make Him Lord, we enter in to a new life and we follow Jesus all the way to Heaven; it doesn’t get any better than that!
HEAVEN AND HELL
They’re real — very real. That’s why we’re doing everything we can to share the good news about Jesus. God doesn’t want anybody to choose Hell, but He wants everybody with Him in Heaven. That’s why we do what we do!

Mission:
Milestone Ministries is a dynamic church that aims to help ordinary people on their journey with an extraordinary God, so they can:
• begin and cultivate a connection with God that is authentic and meaningful,
• demonstrate a stunning and contagious love towards people around them, and
• discover God’s unique purpose and plan for their life.
Vision:
Families in the GTA will come to know Milestone Ministries as a safe place to explore, discover and grow their relationship with God at every stage in life.
Values:
Milestone Ministries is guided by core values that shape the way we think, act and carry out our ministry:
– Inclusiveness
Everyone is welcome at Milestone! Yes, everyone, irrespective of age, ethnicity, abilities, or socioeconomic status.
– Discipleship
We enjoy assuming the role of “student” in our relationship with Jesus Christ. He has saved us and is Lord of our lives. Jesus’ example in the Bible is what we strive for.
– Community
We are a group of believers that intentionally cares for each another and we aim to have a genuine impact on the community in which we live.
– Stewardship
We joyfully give of our time, energy, abilities, special talents and finances to help make things happen locally and around the world.
– Grace
God offers each of us unconditional love, acceptance and forgiveness even when we have blown it and deserve it least. He covers our sins through Jesus Christ’s actions on the cross, and in response, we offer the same forms of grace to one another.
